Presentation of her book "Hira Mandi" by French author Claudine Le Tourneur d'Ison

French journalist, film director and author, Claudine le Tourneur d’Ison will come to present her book Hira Mandi, published in English by Roli Books.

Inspired by famous Pakistani painter Chanwaz Nadeem’s life, her novel depicts the impressive social ascension of a prostitute’s son. His strong desire of being a painter crossed all the limits imposed by a blind and strict society. His story blends with his country’s , the partition of India and Pakistan making thousands of victims…
