XVIIIe siècle. Suzanne, 16 ans, est contrainte par sa famille à rentrer dans les ordres. Au couvent, elle est confrontée à des mères supérieures tour à tour bienveillantes, cruelles ou un peu trop aimantes. Elle poursuit bientôt un unique but : lutter par tous les moyens pour retrouver sa liberté. Une adaptation à la fois fidèle et moderne du chef- d’oeuvre de Diderot.

The XVIIIth century. Suzanne, 16,is forced by her family to enter a convent where she runs into Reverend Mothers who are in turn benevolent, cruel and loving. She enters soon the pursuit of a unique goal: regaining her freedom, by all means. An adaptation, both authentic and modern at the same time.
