For her first exhibition, the Russian painter Elena Vlasova displays 29 paintings : still-lives, landscapes and portraits inspired by the French impressionists.
Elena Vlasova is from Moscow (Russia) but lives in Chandigarh. Busy with her work as a finance auditor, she had never had time to do what she really liked to. But one day she visited an exhibition of French impressionist art in a Russian Museum. Since then, she has been having a dream : Monet in her house … And she started to paint…..
L’artiste-peintre Elena Vlasova est originaire de Moscou (Russie) mais vit à Chandigarh. Trop occupée par son travail d’auditrice financière, elle n’avait jamais eu le temps de faire ce qui lui plaisait vraiment. Mais un jour elle visita une exposition d’art impressioniste français dans un musée russe et depuis elle a un rêve : Monet chez elle…Et elle s’est alors mise à peindre…
