For those who cannot attend regular classes, the Alliance Française network - with the support of the French Embassy, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the French Region Pays de la Loire - has designed a e-learning website for beginners (level A1).

Just like a regular class at Alliance Française, ClickOnFrench.com offers 25 step by step lessons of French including oral comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and culture, based on the communicative approach.

Learning French has never been so easy thanks to a rich multimedia content: 3000 audio files, 200+ auto-corrected exercises and activities, live forums in French and in English, the support of a community of thousands students, etc.

Benefit from the knowhow of Alliance Française teachers on ClickOnFrench.com! Several options of online tutoring have been designed to accompany each student according to his needs. A personal tutor can answer your queries via e-mail, correct your evaluation tests, monitor your progress, and guide you through the course. To emphasize on spoken French, mainly through role games based on day to day situations, a student can interact directly with his tutor by telephone (10 calls of 20 minutes each).

The validity of the course is of 6 months but the course can be completed within 3 to 4 months.

An attestation from the General Delegation of Alliance Française in India will be delivered to students after completion of the course.
