If you are sending your registration form and draft by post or courier, please send a mail with scanned copy of the form, first & last page of your passport, and draft,  as well as a  scanned copy of the courier / post office receipt  at the following address:

This is important because we have to know that there is a registration form in transit and we need to keep a place for you. If your form arrives after all seats are filled and you have not informed us through email in time, your form WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Registration form must reach us by the last date, otherwise, registration cannot be done.

N.B.: No refund / transfer of fee is possible once the registrations have closed.

TEF Canada / TEF Quebec

The Test d’Évaluation de Français pour le Canada (TEF Canada) tests the French language proficiency of both native and non-native French speakers.

TEF Canada is recognized as official proof of language proficiency by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as well as the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (MIDI) du Québec for permanent residency applications, certificat de sélection du Québec applications and Canadian citizenship applications. 

TEF Canada assesses the candidate’s level of proficiency using a 7-level scale based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). These levels are described in detail for each skill (reading/listening/writing/speaking).


The TEF Canada consists of 4 modules: listening, speaking, reading and/or writing. 

For  immigration to Quebec only, two modules are compulsory: Compréhension orale and Expression orale. 

For immigration to Canada Federal (including Quebec) 4 modules are compulsory: 

Tariffs are as follows:

Two modules:  Rs 10,000- + 18% GST = Rs 11,800/-

Four modules: Rs 20,000 + 18% GST = Rs 23,600 /-

 Kindly fill the form carefully. Two photographs should be enclosed (please do not staple them; use paper clips). Write your name on the reverse of the photographs.  Photographs should be on a white background, both the ears should be visible. Photocopy of the first and last page of your passport should be attached as ID proof.
Payment can be made in CASH  or by DEMAND DRAFT in the name of Alliance Française, payable at Chandigarh.
