ABOUT THE TOUR
The tour featuring the artist Awori in India is a unique and energetic event supported by the French Institut in Paris and the Embassy of Switzerland in India and Bhutan under their initiative “SwitzerlandIndia 75: Success Stories to be continued”.
Awori’s music is described as an “airy hip-hop electronic universe” with feminist and socially committed lyrics. As an artist, she will proudly represent her origins and culture while sharing her talent with the Indian audience.
The tour will cover five different cities in India, including Delhi, Pune, Kolkata, Chandigarh, and Mumbai. Each city will get the chance to experience Awori’s captivating performances and her powerful message through music.
With the combination of Awori’s unique music and the collaborative effort of the supporting organizations, the tour promises to be an exciting and meaningful experience for both the artist and the Indian audience.

As soon as the doors open at 9:30 pm, DJ Sunsa will be spinning a hip-hop/jazz mix to get us warmed up before Awori’s performance at 11:30pm.
DJ Czetan will then bring the evening with a crazy techno mix!

ABOUT THE ARTIST
Awori is a nomadic musician who’s often turned to songwriting as a means to adapt to ever-changing environments. Her sound dwells in the R&B and Hip Hop realms with subject matter ranging from vulnerability and self-image to migration and protest.
A prominent figure in the swiss music scene for the last 10 years, she’s collaborated with artists from all over the world, blurring distance and genres in the process. Awori currently resides in Paris where she’s studying Jazz at the Paris College of Music (IMEP).
