About Artist
Renowned as Nikkie, the visionary artist Monisha Tripathy is set to mesmerize audiences at her solo exhibition, “Her Essence,” hosted at Alliance Française Chandigarh from March 4th to 9th, coinciding with International Women’s Day 2024.
She unveils a captivating exploration of womanhood’s profound facets, urging viewers to reflect on strength, vulnerability, and resilience. Aligned with the IWD 2024 theme, ‘Inspire Inclusion,’ “Her Essence” transcends cultural boundaries, advocating for inclusivity and spotlighting the diverse narratives of women.
Monisha delves in the combination of abstract and figurative art, creating beautiful dreamy paintings through acrylic and mixed media. Her passion in art made her opt subjects like Museum Management, Marketing and CRM in Arts while pursuing International Master in Business in Bocconi University Milan, Italy. She took a leap of faith and left her job as a Business Consultant to become a full time artist.
Her creative venture, “Turtle That Paints,” becomes a symbolic call to embrace authenticity, celebrating individual uniqueness. In a society that often overlooks women’s accomplishments, “Her Essence” stands as a powerful testament, urging viewers to appreciate the inherent power and resilience of women from all walks of life.
