Based on the record-breaking graphic novel by Jean-Marc Jancovici and Christophe Blain, this exhibition tackles the climate crisis with wit and wisdom. Through a playful yet profound dialogue, the duo explores energy transition, economic shifts, and sustainable solutions for our collective future.
The exhibition brings together two heavyweights: Christophe Blain, a two-time Angoulême Best Album winner, and Jean-Marc Jancovici, a renowned energy expert and member of France’s High Council for the Climate. Together, they transform complex ecological challenges into a captivating visual narrative that was France’s best-selling book of 2022.

THE AUTHORS
Christophe Blain
Author – Script – Artwork – Colors
Christophe Blain is a celebrated French comic artist who gained recognition with works such as Isaac the Pirate, Socrates the Half-Dog, and Gus. He achieved major success with Quai d’Orsay: Diplomatic Chronicles (2010), co-written with Abel Lanzac, which became a bestseller and was later adapted into a film.
Blain is also the author of The Girl, In the Kitchen with Alain Passard, and King Kong. He has twice won the Best Album Award at the Angoulême International Comics Festival (2002, 2013), making him one of the few artists to receive this honor twice.
In 2019, he co-created a new installment of Lieutenant Blueberry with Joann Sfar, exploring his passion for the western genre.
Jean-Marc Jancovici
Script
Jean-Marc Jancovici is a leading expert in energy and climate, co-founder of Carbone 4 and president of The Shift Project. He teaches at Mines ParisTech and serves on the High Council for the Climate.
An author of several influential books on climate and sustainability, The World Without End marks his first venture into comics, bringing complex environmental issues to a wider audience.
