TEF Canada is Computer based

Listening, Reading & Writing will be on the computer.
Laptops (keyboard layout QWERTY) & mouse will be provided. For letters with accents a virtual keyboard is integrated in the software.
Headphones will be provided for listening
Speaking will be with an examiner and will be recorded.
All four modules (listening, speaking, reading & writing) will be on the same day.
There is no negative marking for TEF.
The Test d’Évaluation de Français pour le Canada (TEF Canada) tests the French language proficiency of both native and non-native French speakers.
TEF Canada is recognized as official proof of language proficiency by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) as well as the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (MIDI) du Québec for permanent residency applications, certificat de sélection du Québecapplications and Canadian citizenship applications.
TEF Canada assesses the candidate’s level of proficiency using a 7-level scale based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL). These levels are described in detail for each skill (reading/listening/writing/speaking).
EXAMINATION
The TEF Canada consists of 4 compulsory modules: listening, speaking, reading and/or writing.

TEF Quebec consists of 2 compulsory modules:
- Expression orale (speaking)
- Compréhension orale (listening)
and 2 optional modules
- Compréhension écrite (reading)
- Expression écrite (writing)
How to register
Those interested in taking the TEF Canada exam, kindly send a mail to [email protected].
Waiting list will be made on the basis of first-come-first-served basis.
The candidates will be informed at least 4 weeks before their turn comes.
After receiving a confirmation email with our bank details, you will need to scan and send the following documents to [email protected]
1 – Filled and signed TEF Canada registration form (all columns should be filled). You can download the registration form from our website.
2 – One passport sized photograph on white background
3 – First and last page of your passport
4 – Payment is through bank transfer
5 – Reference number of bank transfer
3 days (counting from the time the email was sent) will be given to register, failing which the seat will be given to the next person on the waiting list.

General terms of sale
For results it takes generally 2 – 4 weeks.
To retake the test 30 days gap is mandatory.
No refund / transfer of fee is possible once the registrations have closed.

TEF Canada (4 modules): Rs 21,000 + 18% GST = Rs 24,780 /-
TEFAQ (2 modules – CO & EO): Rs 11,000 + 18% GST = Rs 12,980/-
One module: Rs 5,500 + 18% GST = Rs 6, 490/-
